MUSTANG GT3 WINS: Ford Mustang gets the GTD-Pro Class Win at Daytona 2025

Ford Mustang with the Multi-Matic Team got it’s first win with the new car at this years Daytona Rolex 24 hour race over this last weekend on the central Florida Coast. In an iconic battle with rival Chevrolet and the Corvette Team from Pratt and Miller, Dennis Olsen drove the #65 ‘Stang to the Victory with the #64 sister car. It was great to see the battle between the American Muscle Cars.

Corvette did get the win in the GTD Class with the #13 Z06 GT3 getting the win over the #120 Porsche GT3 from Wright Motorsports.

Next up in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship Series is the 12 Hours of Sebring, also in Florida, in mid March and we’ll see if the GTD Classes still have the American Muscle up front. IMSA officials have a “Balance of Performance” or BOP Formula where they can change a number of specs on the cars to keep the competition close and it’s possible that both teams could get “BOPPED”.

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon to see what happens next……..TACH IT UP!!!
