After being cancelled last year in 2020 because of Covid-19, Reno, Nevada will once again host one of the premier car show events of the summer. From what we are being told it will be held without capacity restrictions and Hot August Nights organization are continuing taking entry registrations, continuing up through the week of the events here in the Reno/Tahoe area in Northern Nevada. This years dates are August 2 – August 8, 2021. We have participated in Hot August Nights for over 30 years with many different cars from our group and have seen the event grow from just a local cruise up and down Virginia Street, under the famous Arch from the UNR parking lot and the original “Hamburger Haven” to now being one of the largest car show events in the world. It will be interesting to see what the turnout is like this year. A week or so ago I did complete our official entry registration for our road race Mustang that is street legal and our entry number is 4429. So it does appear that there will most likely be close to 5000 car entries, along with all the other spectators who will visit our area during the events.
During this next month or so leading into the “Main Event”, there are many smaller shows put on by some of the local groups and casinos. We will be posting some pictures and maybe a few feature stories for our summer 2021 season.
Stay posted and until next time,……..TACH IT UP!!!

on a entirely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Superb choice of colors!
